Since The Rainmaker in 1956, the Civic Theatre Guild has produced over
230 plays. Some were standard titles in the repertoire of all good theatre
companies; some were penned by local playwrights and had their premieres here;
others were award-winning. All were produced with dedication by their casts and
crews, and roundly applauded and appreciated by their audiences.
