The Carriage House Auxiliary was formed in March 1980, when the Civic Theatre Guild obtained the use of the Carriage House. The primary purpose of the Auxiliary was to help renovate and furnish the Carriage House and improve the grounds. Through the years they have sponsored many fundraisers to attain their objectives. Among their achievements, perhaps the most striking, is the beautiful courtyard, which all patrons enjoy as part of their theatre experience at the Carriage House.
The auxiliary continues to enhance the facility with such additions as street
lamps, park benches, trees, shrubs, and new flower beds each spring.
The dedicated Auxiliary also contributes its time and energy throughout the year by serving as hosts and hostesses for each play. They also assist with special projects such as preparing bulk mailings four to six times a year.
